Hello everyone!

I am Mohsin Kalam and I am a Software Design Engineer in Test in the Microsoft BizTalk Server EDI team.

This blog is set up to focus on the new Microsoft BizTalk Server R2 support of B2B transactions while focusing primarily on EDI. It is also intended to provide a channel to reach our customers, partners and the user community.

Please feel free to leave your comments/suggestions, ask clarifying questions or let me know if you would like me to blog about a certain topic in R2 EDI.

Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day!

  2. I have read through a few MSDN Forum postings where the issue of correlating functional acks (997s) was discussed but I was never able to find a clear answer. Is there an out-of-box method for correlating the 997 back to the original transaction? It appears that even if the party as receiver is configured for a 997 to be expected that the 997 is not automatically routed or correlated but must be subscribed to by a custom orchestration or send port.
